The dates for the fair this year are Wednesday, September 26 to Saturday, September 29, 2007 Entries will be taken for baked goods on Tuesday, September 25 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Judging will take place that same evening. *Please note: No whole cakes, breads or pies will be accepted, please enter slices only!! Baked goods must be placed on two (2) 6” or 9” paper plates and completely sealed in a large “ziplock bag”. Please be sure to follow the special rules below that apply to bake goods that are being entered for judging: CAKES and PIES: Bring 2 large slices of the CAKE/PIE that is to be judged. Place 2 large slices on each paper plate as described above, each plate must be in a ziplock bag to be accepted for judging and display. (one plate for judging and one plate for display). BREADS and COOKIES. Bring 6 slices/6 rolls/6 cookies. Place 3 slices/3rolls/3cookies on each paper plate as describe above, each plate must be in a ziplock bag to be accepted for judging and display. (one plate for judging and one plate for display). CANDY: Bring 6 pieces of candy. Place 3 pieces on each paper plate as describe above, each plate must be in a ziplock bag to be accepted for judging and display. (one plate for judging and one plate for display). DECORATED CAKES: An entire decorated cake must be entered and placed on a disposable plate or cardboard. The cake does not need to be covered. * PLEASE NOTE: NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED. Last years special entries were antique toys. This year, the special entry will be old cookbooks. To qualify for the entry, the cookbook must be 25 years old or older. Entries will be taken on Tuesday, September 25 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. ONLY. Entries and ribbons may be picked up on the last day of the fair, Saturday, September 29 from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. or on Sunday September 30, 2007 from 1p.m to 3 p.m. ONLY.
