SPECIAL STEER SHOW RULES
Steers may be entered in their respective breeds to the best knowledge of their exhibitor, but the official show classifier may determine, in his opinion, whether that individual steer is a true representative of its breed.
Steers will be weighed and classed by breeds entered according to the schedule on the preceding page. IF IT IS THE OPINION OF THE SHOW CLASSIFIER THAT THE STEER CANNOT BE PLACED IN A RECOGNIZED BREED, THE CLASSIFIER WILL PLACE THE STEER IN THE AOB CLASS. Steers classed as an AOB by the show classifier will not be required to return for weighing.
The 16 breed format will be honored but there must be 3 head to constitute a breed class. If there is not 3 head in a breed class, the Show Superintendent will combine the animal(s) with another breed of similar relationship.
NO protests will be allowed - the decision of the classifier at the time of classification is final.
