TO PROSPECTIVE COMMERCIAL BOOTH
PARTICIPANTS
FOR THE HOWARD COUNTY FAIR:
The 2006 Howard County Fair has been set for
Wednesday, September 27 through Saturday, September
30.
The hours for the 2006 Howard County Fair are:
Wednesday 4:00p.m. - 10:00p.m.
Thursday 4:00p.m. - 10:00p.m.
Friday 4:00p.m. - 10:00p.m.
Saturday 10:00a.m. - 10:00p.m.
We hope that with active participation in the
commercial booth area we can make the 2006 Howard
County Fair the best ever. The 2005 Fair certainly
had something for everyone. Our exhibit building
was at a maximum capacity with 83 booths and a
waiting list. Please consider the promotional value
to your business and the exposure through one-on-one
contact with the consumers of Howard and the
surrounding counties.
The commercial booth space is available on a
first-come first-served basis. Because we feel that
all spaces are of equal quality, the Fair
association will make the final booth assignments.
Because as exhibitors you have preferences, in
order to maintain the same booth space as 2004, your
signed contract, check for full or partial payment
and your request must be received prior to another
exhibitor's request for that space. Prompt return
of your contract will help insure the rental of the
space you desire. Signs are available for all
booths provided the contract has been received two
weeks prior to the opening of the Fair. If your
contract is not received by September 10, we will be
unable to have a sign printed for you.
Information about commercial booths is as
follows:
PRICE:
All booths are 8xlO in area. Each booth space will
rent for $150.00 Each booth is located inside the
exhibits building.
CONTENTS:
One 110-volt outlet is available to each booth. No
extension cords are provided. Arrangements for
additional power may be made at the expense of the
participant. Tables and chairs are available to rent
for the week of the Fair. One six-foot table and
two chairs are $10.00.
PASSES:
Passes will be distributed at the front office on
the day the booths are set up. Four weekly passes
will be given to each booth. Additional daily passes
may be purchased for $4.00 and weekly passes for
$16.00. Absolutely no exceptions.
RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENTS:
Please call Nancy Howard at 432/353-4448 to receive
a copy of the contract.
To assure your reservation, please complete, sign
and return the contract with a down payment of one
half the total contract price. The balance of your
payment will be due and payable August 24.
Non-profit organizations are required to obtain
their own sponsorship. CHECKS FROM THESE
SPONSORS SHOULD ACCOMPANY YOUR CONTRACT, AS WE ARE
UNABLE TO MAIL STATEMENTS AND COLLECT YOUR SPONSORS
MONEY.
CANCELLATIONS:
As the contract states:
Cancellations after August 1, 2006 and
before August 31, 2006 - 50% of the rental
paid will be refunded.
Cancellations after August 31, 2006 - No
refund and the contracted space will be
reassigned.
Please review these policies and read the contract
carefully. We hope you will decide to join us for
the 2006 Howard County Fair. Because of interest and
limited spaces available, please sign the contract
and forward it with the down payment. Your early
return of the contract is greatly appreciated. Upon
receipt of your signed contract and check, a letter
will be mailed to you confirming your booth and
stating booth set-up times. For any other
information please feel free to contact us. The 2006
Howard County Fair will be a great success with your
