SPECIAL RULES AND
REGULATIONS 2006
ALL
ENTRIES IN THE ART
DEPARTMENT ARE
SUBJECT TO THE
GENERAL RULES AND
REGULATIONS AS
PUBLISHED HEREIN.
PLEASE READ
CAREFULLY.
- A limit of
(2) paintings
per exhibitors.
These can be in
different
classes or
mixed.
- Paintings
can be any
subject, style,
or size as long
as they are the
original work of
the exhibitor.
- All entries
must be framed
and ready for
hanging. Framed
artwork with saw
toothed hangers
will not be
accepted.
- Paintings
must not have
received an
award in a
showing at this
Fair.
- There will
be no entry fee.
Entries cannot
be removed after
judging until
the close of the
Fair.
- School Art
which is not
framed, needs to
have a loop of
string or thread
affixed to the
back. Please
have entries
ready to hang
prior to entry.
- Judging will
be done by a
qualified judge.
His/Her decision
will be final.
The judge has
the authority to
combine classes
or mediums if
necessary under
any
circumstances.
- We
appreciate your
entries and will
do all we can to
ensure they are
properly taken
care of.
However, we
cannot be
responsible for
loss or damage.
- Any painting
not acceptable
to the Rules
Committee will
not be
exhibited.
- AWARDS:
First, Second,
and Third and
Honorable
Mention ribbons
will be awarded
in each class. A
plaque be
awarded to the
work selected as
Best -in -Show,
and People's
Choice Award.
All entries for Art
& Photography will
be taken on Tuesday,
September 26, 2006
from 8:00am -
6:00pm.
Judging will take
place Wednesday
morning, September
27, 2006, and all
entries will be on
display throughout
the fair.
Entries must be
picked up either
Saturday night after
10:00pm or Sunday
afternoon between
1:00 - 3:00pm.
